Child Abuse Prevention is Everyone's ResponsibilityTCCPCAN HistoryThe Tri-County Coalition for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (TCCPCAN) is a designated local council of the Michigan Children’s Trust Fund (CTF) for Grand Traverse, Leelanau and Kalkaska counties. It was formed in 1983 and incorporated in 1985 as a nonprofit organization. In 1993, TCCPCAN received a 501(c)3 status from the Internal Revenue Service. The coalition is made up of a group of volunteers both lay and professional committed to helping children and their families. VisionAn organization dedicated to assuring that all children in Grand Traverse, Kalkaska and Leelanau counties live in an environment free of child abuse and neglect. MissionOur mission is to promote greater public awareness of the causes, incidents and effects of child abuse and neglect; to provide the opportunity for networking, sharing and collaboration; and to help fund the development of prevention programs in Grand Traverse, Kalkaska and Leelanau Counties.
